Description:
This little gem from Mendelssohn's "Vier Lieder für vierstimmigen Männerchor" (op. 75) deserves to be better-known, and so I offer this re-voicing for mixed choir (or quartet) with an English singing translation of two of the original three verses. (This leaves open the possibility of singing one verse in the original German.) A midi version of the new voicing is provided.
