| All the commercially-published piano-vocal scores of Bach's St. John Passion include a reasonably accurate--but totally unplayable--piano reduction of the opening chorus. My reduction of the reduction is, therefore, a life-saver for anyone tasked with accompanying rehearsals of this work! (The audio file is a MIDI playback of the first 3 minutes only -- the score is, of course, complete.) |
